We’re very pleased to welcome Barry Westgate to the role of UK Sales Director, here at Intratone. Meanwhile Victor D’Allancé is taking on a new challenge as Director of International Development at our parent company, Cogelec.
So, what does this mean for Intratone and our customers? We caught up with Barry and Victor to ask them about their access control experience, key industry trends and the future of property management.
Barry Westgate
With a strong background in sales, Barry has been working in the security industry for over 20 years. It’s this experience and these valuable insights into the world of wireless intercoms and access control that made him the perfect fit for his new role as UK Sales Director.
Why did he choose Intratone? Because we’re a company that puts people first and it’s these cultural values that attracted Barry. Joining the team also appealed because we’re at the forefront of wireless intercom and access control innovation: “Intratone UK is going from strength to strength as our portfolio of pioneering, wireless access control solutions expands – alongside our market reach. As he joins the team, what can we expect in 2022?
“We’re looking to implement a new customer experience approach, reviewing both the pre- and post-sales process, to make sure everyone is happy with both our wireless property management solutions and support. Plus, we’re launching some exciting products to the UK market, which will be game-changing for streamlining housing professionals’ workflows and improving door entry for everyone.” Watch this space…!
Victor D’Allancé
Having worked at Intratone UK for nearly three years as Country Manager, Victor has now moved into looking after international development at our parent company, Cogelec. Now that the company is France’s number one access control supplier, Victor is looking to grow the business further afield – along with his 70-strong team.
“The UK, Germany and Benelux are important areas of growth for us, as collectively they have over 30 million affordable homes. We’re adapting our offering to meet the demands of these markets, bringing breakthrough wireless innovations to new territories. This is just the beginning of our expansion!”
Victor predicts the digitalisation trend to continue taking off and he explains why: “The share of wired intercoms is declining year on year, as housing managers realise the many benefits of wireless access control systems, like lower costs and real-time management capabilities. Cogelec and Intratone are perfectly positioned to meet these rising demands with our suite of GSM-based, wireless door entry and property management systems – both today and in the future.”
