The Intratone team is pleased to announce our new partnership with Community Housing Cymru as a Commercial Member. By representing over 70 housing associations, the CHC has become Wales’ leading voice in social housing. Community Housing Cymru members make up the housing supply for 10% of the population in Wales, offering nearly 160,000 affordable homes.
Last Autumn, Intratone exhibited at CHC’s One Big Housing Conference, held in Llandrindod Wells on the 10 & 11 October 2019. During the event, Victor D’Allancé (Country Manager), Vijay Mehmi (Inside Sales Executive), and Dan Bacon (Area Sales Manager), met with social housing professionals from across Wales.
Hearing first-hand the unique challenges of housing associations in the region, it was clear that our GSM-based access control and remote management portal offer an easy, cost-effective solution that resolves many issues faced by property managers across Wales. By offering a wireless solution that can be managed anytime, anywhere, property managers are free to dedicate more time to the tasks that truly make a difference to their tenants.
The Intratone team has been impressed by the drive and commitment CHC has shown to tackling the challenges with the existing housing supply in Wales, and we are excited to support their efforts. Community Housing Cymru is on a mission- “Housing Horizons”- which states that good housing is a basic human right for everyone, and they have committed to help build 75,000 new affordable homes by 2036.
In the more immediate future, CHC are working on a three-year plan, driven by priorities identified by members, which includes providing future-proof solutions, which is very much in line with the Intratone range of products. This new partnership solidifies Intratone’s commitment to respond to and serve the needs of social housing organisations across Wales. We look forward to continuing to build our relationship with the CHC team over the coming months.
